Days two and three involved a lot of sightseeing in both Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapaho National Recreation Area. We also took photos of the Milky Way that will be posted later when I have more time to describe and write about it.

Day 0/1: Winter Park, RMNP and Grand Lake
We’re spending the week in and around Winter Park, Colo., one of our favorite places to vacation. The sail boat on Lake Granby is my favorite photo from the first day. It was about an hour before sunset and a storm was rolling in, creating dramatic lighting.

All-Star Soccer
A few photos from the Missouri Athletic Club All-Star game featuring area high school seniors. The first game featured the girls and the second the boys. It was the first time I’ve used the Canon 7D Mark II for a night assignment. I’m pretty excited to use it come football season.
New Melle Festival kicks off Missouri fair season
Last night we went down the road to the New Melle Festival supporting New Melle Sports & Recreation. It’s a small town fair and one of the first of the season. With just a few rides and stands, it was a great way to kick off fair season in Missouri.
