This past Saturday I was fortunate enough to photograph Ben Loewnau’s engagement to Lexie Purcell at Babler State Park in Wildwood, Mo.
A few days earlier, Ben and I scouted out a location for me to hide and capture the surprise. Ben and Lexie hiked this trail during one of their first dates, so the location had special meaning.
I ended up hiding about 100 feet away behind a tree and was able to capture the moment:
