We’re spending the week in and around Winter Park, Colo., one of our favorite places to vacation.
The sail boat on Lake Granby is my favorite photo from the first day. It was about an hour before sunset and a storm was rolling in, creating dramatic lighting.
Sadly, the Idlewild ski area in Winter Park, which closed years ago, is undergoing housing redevelopment. This led to the removal of an old red barn from the property, but has luckily added a new road and view of the Winter Park ski area.
