Now that the 2015-2016 high school sports season has officially concluded, I dug through my photos from this year to find some of my favorites. Almost all were for STLhighschoolsports.com. I typically link to the stories, but there are far too many to go back and find for this post. Enjoy!
A few photos from the Missouri Athletic Club All-Star game featuring area high school seniors. The first game featured the girls and the second the boys. It was the first time I’ve used the Canon 7D Mark II for a night assignment. I’m pretty excited to use it come football season.
Fair warning: this post is going to have more photos than usual. The Class 4 state baseball championship was a great game to shoot, filled with action and emotion. MICDS defeated Boonville to take the program’s first state title on Saturday at CarShield Field in O’Fallon. You can read the story and see my photosContinue reading “MICDS takes Class 4 state baseball title”
Just a few photos from Thursday’s semifinal game between Francis Howell and Lee’s Summit West. I was lucky to shoot with STLhighschoolsports.com’s Ben Loewnau for most of the game. You can see the story and his photos on the Post-Dispatch site.
I covered the Missouri Scholastic Lacrosse Association’s state title games for the Post-Dispatch last weekend. It’s always fun to cover lacrosse and shooting at Lindenwood was a lot of fun. It’s a great facility.
I photographed and attended my first track and field meet ever Saturday. It’s a fun experience, but can be difficult to shoot with multiple events happening at one time and occasionally overlapping each other. Here are a few of my favorite photos:
Just a few high school baseball shots from this year. I did get to shoot a game at Howell North with the great Derrick Docket.
