Merry Christmas! These photos are of the Saint Theodore Parish in Flint Hill, Mo., on Dec. 23, 2016. The photos were taken handheld on a GX7 with an Olympus 45/1.7 while out shopping.
Year ago: Chain of Rocks Bridge
Digging through old photo, I found these from Nate Papes and I’s trip to the Chain of Rocks Bridge a year ago today. The bridge, built in another era, closed years ago, but carried traffic for Route 66. I just liked these photos of Katy on a merry-go-round in a Marceline, Mo., city park on March 26, 2016. Marceline is the boyhood home of Walt Disney. We were visiting Katy’s grandpa and family in Marceline for Easter on Saturday.
