After our Colorado trip, I still wasn’t too happy with how my Milky Way photos turned out. Stumbling across a Peta Pixel article, I found a video showing how to properly edit Milky Way photos.
Here’s the result:
My original edit:
![A portion of the Milky Way just after midnight overlooking Winter Park, Colo., on July 28, 2016. Canon 5D Mark III Canon 17-40 f/4 @ 17mm f/4 30 seconds ISO 2500](http://mgulls.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/20160726-mg-0163-small.jpg)
Canon 5D Mark III
Canon 17-40 f/4 @ 17mm f/4
30 seconds
ISO 2500
It’s a subtle but big difference.
