Photographing the Milky Way
For about 10 years I’ve been trying to get a decent shot of the Milky Way while on a trip in Colorado. Days 2 & 3: Arapaho National Recreation Area, RMNP
Days two and three involved a lot of sightseeing in both Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapaho National Recreation Area. We also took photos of the Milky Way that will be posted later when I have more time to describe and write about it.
Day 0/1: Winter Park, RMNP and Grand Lake
We’re spending the week in and around Winter Park, Colo., one of our favorite places to vacation. The sail boat on Lake Granby is my favorite photo from the first day. It was about an hour before sunset and a storm was rolling in, creating dramatic lighting.
