The rain made shooting Friday’s game difficult – trying to keep the camera dry and still get the photos needed. Even with the start time moved up an hour, the rain starting coming down steadily just a few minutes in.
Luckily, with OP/TECH Rainsleeve and the very weather sealed Canon 7D Mark II, I was able to shoot despite the downpour. It was rather nerve-wracking since it was the longest I’ve shot in rain coming down that heavily.
My only disappointment was not finding a true rainy weather shot, but I think the action photos get that point across.
